With the continuation of COVID-19 cases in British Columbia, we want to remind our patients and community that we are committed to providing safe primary care through the course of the pandemic.
Call volumes have increased and we are doing our best to keep up with the demand. We ask that you be kind, calm, and patient with us while we navigate our "new normal".
For information about the recent COVID-19 outbreak please call 1-888-COVID19 or visit the BC Centre for Disease Controls website at www.bccdc.ca
If you think you need a COVID-19 test, use the resources below as your first step to help you determine if you meet criteria for testing and help you navigate the process:
https://www.islandhealth.ca/learn-about-health/covid-19/symptoms-testing-and-isolation
Please, do not call our clinics to request COVID-19 testing. We take direction from Island Health, so you will be redirected to them if you call our clinic for this concern.
Please stay on top of your prescriptions and book in for a telephone appointment at least four weeks before you are due for a renewal.
Appointments are being done primarily via telephone. Telephone appointments are bookable online at My Health Access. If you need to be seen in person please call the front desk.
Many of the practitioners are working both in the clinic and from their homes offices.
At the time of your scheduled telephone appointment, be sure to answer blocked or private numbers. Please disable any feature that redirects those types of calls. Ensure you are in a private, quiet space. The call will need to be re-booked if there is background noise, or if you are driving/cycling.
